Everybody talks about the Constitution, but it seems that few people have actually read that short document. How well do you know it?
Note: this is one of the most difficult of the online tests, but you need only a 50% score to pass. While some of the questions may seem tricky or obscure, they're all directly based on the Constitution--a short, easily read document. If you don't like your score, read the Constitution and take the test again!
Oh, and one hint before you take it: Amendments to the Constitution become part of the Constitution after they're ratified. (Some test takers have complained that I refer to the Constitution when I really mean just an Amendment. But an amended Constitution IS the Constitution. The Founders said so, in Article V of the Constitution.)
