So, What’s New?
We have added a bunch of new features and also improved some key features to take the ease of navigation and use a notch higher. Let’s look at the key highlights.
User Interface Update
✅ Additional Folder Page Styles
While earlier we offered only the list view for subfolders, the current UI supports the column view as well.
You can now arrange subfolders into a two or three-column view for ease of navigation. The default option for columns is set as One.

New Feature Additions
1. User Timesheet Report
We heard from many of you who wanted to track the progress and performance of authors involved in writing, proofing, and approving content.
You now have user timesheet reports that offer useful insights into how much time authors spend in your knowledge base.
Get a separate timesheet for each author showcasing the login and logout time as well as the total number of login hours.
The feature allows you to access user details for up to 30 days.
What’s important to note here is that if an author logs in but directly closes the tab instead of logging out, no logout time and total hours will be recorded.

2. Two-Factor Authentication
To your delight, ProProfs Knowledge Base now supports notifications. This is a crucial feature that keeps users informed of all new articles published and any updates made to existing content.
Notification alerts are turned off by default. You can turn on notifications to provide users with real-time updates of any changes in your knowledge base.

3. Instant Notifications
To your delight, ProProfs Knowledge Base now supports notifications. This is a crucial feature that keeps users informed of all new articles published and any updates made to existing content.

4. Custom Page Templates
You can now save an existing help center article as a template for future use. This reduces manual work and expedites the process of creating content.
Using the template is as easy as creating one. Every time you start creating a page, you will be presented with template options under the “My Templates” tab. Pick the template of your choice and get started in seconds.

5. Page ToC (Table of Contents)
Page ToC is another fascinating feature we have launched to take the user experience to the next level.
With this feature, you can add a table of contents on the right side of an article. Navigation becomes a breeze when all the article contents are displayed right at the top.

☑️ Navigate to the desired section with a click
6. Copy Page to Another Site
Previously, ProProfs Knowledge Base allowed users to copy pages to the same site. With the new roll-out, we have taken this option one step further.
You can now copy a page to multiple help sites with a single click. The formatting is retained, so you don’t have to build anything from the ground up.

☑️ Retain the formatting of the original page across all sites
Feature Updates
1. PDF Import
This is an existing feature with a welcome enhancement.
Previously, when a PDF was imported all the existing formatting was lost. The new version of this feature allows you to seamlessly import content from PDF while keeping the formatting intact. This means you can import the files as is without losing the styling and formatting.
Key Benefits:
☑️ Eliminate the manual effort of formatting the imported content from scratch
☑️ No coding or customization is required, making the import process hassle-free
2. In-App Help Widget Customization
You can now fully customize the help widget with your favorite themes to give it your desired look and feel.
The update also allows you to configure the widget by adding a name and selecting the specific pages you want to put on display. Additionally, you can configure the widget on specific URLs using URL mapping.
Another interesting feature of the widget is Regex which allows advanced targeting of your help widget.
Regex enables you to target a wide range of URLs that fall under a specific condition. With such narrowed targeting, you can add the widget to several pages at once while ensuring that certain portions of your knowledge base are excluded.
