Hatchet is a young-adult wilderness survival novel written by Gary Paulsen. The story revolves around a 13-year-old boy named, Brian Robeson whose parents are divorced. He left New York City to see his father in the Canadian Woods. But due to misfortune, Brian's plane gets crashed, and the pilot dies due to a heart attack.
