This is for new and potential members making their first character on the site. This quiz can help you develop some of the background for your character and gives you what we think is the most likely status for them - Commissioned, Enlisted, Civilian, or Cadet. The entrance exams for Starfleet Academy are brutal and their acceptance rate is very low (consider not only millions of Humans, but millions of others from other worlds as well, all trying to get into a single Ivy League school). Most people don't get accepted, and of those, most don't pass the exams the first time. If your character didn't pass the first time, what would they do?

They would keep trying until they did.
- B.
They would try another time or two, but if they still couldn't make it they would eventually realize it wasn't for them.
- C.
They would give up after the first time and try something else. SFA isn't the be all end all of the space careers.
- D.
They wouldn't even try the first time.
