Nurturing and supportive. I appreciate feeling like my team lead will stay with me through any problem I have, no matter how long it takes, and is available to answer all of my questions with patience and kindness.
To the point. I want a team lead who will tell me like it is—whether I’m doing poorly or well; answer my questions directly without any fluff when I need them answered, but also encourage me to work through issues myself.
Very knowledgeable. I don’t care how my team lead acts with me as long as I know they are good at their job and know a lot about the systems.
Involved in everything! I like having a team lead that can connect me to the resources and people I need at a moment’s notice.
