The Nebraska Dental/Dental Hygiene Jurisprudence Exam is a free, online open book examination developed by the Nebraska Board of Dentistry for the purpose of assuring that all dentists and dental hygienists understand the Dentistry Practice Act, the Uniform Credentialing Act, the Medical Records Statutes, the Mandatory Reporting Regulations 172 NAC 5, the Regulations - Dentistry 172 NAC 56, Dental Hygiene 172 NAC 57, Dental Assistants 172 NAC 53, and the Dental Faculty 172 NAC 58. Successful completion means a minimum score of 75%. Each applicant is required to pass this examination and provide DHHS-Licensure Unit with a copy of certificate.
