No because what is sound if no one can hear it? Sound therefore is a ghost. Surely it existed before there were ears to hear it, but if no one could hear it then how could it make a sound? A priori knowledge tells us that sound exists even if one cannot hear the noise, but sound loses its meaning if it cannot be sensed. Therefore we can conclude nothing
Yes. Trees make a sound when they fall. This is a tree. It is going to make a sound. Duh. Period. End of debate
Yes because there are other ways that sound can be perceived. For instance, sound is simply vibrations in the air sensed by the hairs in the inner ear. There are vibrations sometimes that can be felt even if they cannot be sensed through hearing because of distance, i.e. earthquakes
Yes. Don't over-complicate this
Who even thinks about this stuff?

Yes, if we arrive at these truths logically, ruling out all other possible hypotheses
Yes. Look around you. Some aspects in life just simply are. There is no other way to explain it
No. Truth is an always changing set of facts that can never be proven because of the infinite number of hypotheses that must first be ruled out. Look at scientific "fact." Theories continue to evolve as new evidence accumulates. So the nature of truth is transient

Black and white. I can easily see things in dichotomies
Shades of gray. I refuse to limit my view points to just two values. It is unrealistic to only allow for opposites in the world.

Yes. Not that everyone is identical, but there are some universal similarities we all share and can fit into certain categories based on such qualities. I can think of a way to classify people into two groups and such classifications are necessary to make sense in this world.
No. There are too many people and too many types of people to sort into just two categories. People are too complicated to fit schema.
No because of the person-situation controversy. We all can act differently depending on the situation and adapt to that situation. For instance, someone can be totally silly with their friends and completely mature around adult figures. Personalities are complex.

I like this book a lot. Maybe it's a little dry, but Pirsig's philosophical inquiries are deep and thought provoking. They have really influenced how I view the world and my own ideas about abstract concepts.
Um well it's not my favorite book. I think this existential philosophy is a little over thought and not really up my alley. No offense but it is hard to relate to the central themes of the book and the conflicts haven't changed how I see the world.
Don't know. Don't care
