A 31 year old woman who develops ARDS with a P:F of 80 despite low-tidal volume ventilation, proning, and neuromuscular blockade
A 68 year old homeless man who presents with a GCS of 3, core body temperature of 26 °C and SBP’s >90
A 56 year old man who develops cardiogenic shock secondary to ACS
