Something small and furry and cute. Mice, hampsters, guinea pigs, that sort of thing.

Something I can be outside with. A horse if I had the space, or a dog or a cat.

Something cool, like exotic fish or a tank of frogs or a snake.

If space isn't an issue, I'd go with something really out there and unusual. A pet emu or a llama. Or maybe a tiger!
