Cynthia Watkins PT, DPT, CHT is the Manager of Hand Therapy at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, PA.    She completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University and received her DPT from Temple University. She has lectured at Temple University in the physical therapy and athletic training departments and also coordinates and lectures at the annual meeting of the Rothman Hand Conference.  She has several peer reviewed journal and book publications.  Cynthia has been working in hand therapy for over eighteen years. 

 

 

 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

This course will review mechanism of injury, characteristics and associated populations of common hand and wrist sports injuries. In addition, a comprehensive review of current evidence-based treatment techniques used in physical therapy will be discussed.
