What is an outside sales representative and what they do? Do you know enough to pass this quiz? An outside sales representative is a sales specialist who meets or targets customers in person. The job of the outside sales representative can be more challenging than someone with inside sales roles. They will typically meet with a prospective customer without having any senior management from the company come along. This quiz is all about what it means to be an outside sales representative.
That sounds good, provided I don't have to deal with stressful deadlines or pressures.
Actually, I just want hourly more than anything. Commissions are nice, but not as important to me.

Maybe, but I would rather earn a smaller amount for consistent work.
I agree. I feel best selling something of clear value, for a great price, if I get a solid commission. And if my customers buy again soon after, shouldn't I earn more from that, also?

I've never done it, but if it's legitimate and easy enough for me (and pays well) I'm game to try!
Isn't it illegal for me to call businesses to solicit things they weren't expecting to hear about?
I'm aware that it's legal, and I already sell products and/or services to companies. I'm curious about what this sellable is.
I sell website-related services to companies (and/or individuals). Let me see what you've got! :)

Definitely - just help me understand why our websites are worth their consideration.
No way... websites scare me to death. I can't imagine selling a website to anyone.
Not me! I couldn't tell the difference between a good website and a bad one -- even if you train me!

I am more than happy to work on my own schedule, as I wish, when I think best - with the purpose of getting paid. I'll be glad to learn enough to see how to sell these websites and then hit it!
I'm not that good at working without supervision. I would rather work somewhere that expects working hours, has a dress code, and pays overtime if I work over 40 hours/week.

I want to get moving hard and fast, and I'm local (Seattle, WA metro area)
I want to get moving hard and fast, but I'm not local. I'll learn from your online videos/documents and run this from my location.
I see this as a cool hobby; a tool to make some cash on the side, to pay off my car, schooling, rent, or go on vacation. Or earn some quick cash if I'm in a pinch (like if my car breaks down).
I'm a college/university student - for me, this can replace or offset a time-demanding job. That way my schedule gets easier to maintain, and I can upgrade to a better place with great roommates... or none!

That's cool! It relieves the pressure of hitting daily goals since they'll be averaged over the week!
I would rather earn monthly. It's slower. But I'm used to it. (Sorta... not really.)

Yes - just let me know how I present myself, my relationship to your company and your products.
No - I wanted (or needed) you to hire me as an employee. (But I realize that I can do this on the side of a different job I still need to get!)

Yes, I have a place to myself for a few hours each day, much of the time.
Not really, but I guess I could park my car somewhere and call from it to start, until I can get a place to myself.
Not yet, but I'll figure it out!
