In the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament of Christians, the Book of Jeremiah comes second of the Latter Prophets and the Prophets consecutively. Read more
The Book of Jeremiah is difficult to understand as it is written in a poetic and complex way. The book tells about Jeremiah being the second Moses which presided the banishment of Israel from the Promised land instead of delivering them from Egypt and bringing them to it.
The book can be divided into three sections with the first section (chapters 26-29) being the account of the fall of Jerusalem to Babylon. The dates included in the account are said to be precise. Can you tell which year did Jerusalem fall to Babylon? The next two sections tell of God’s messages. Can you enumerate the important messages God told to Jeremiah? What are these messages about? Reveal the messages in the Book of Jeremiah by participating in these quizzes.
