Prerequisites:The Refresher Program is designed for those who have previous experience but have been away from practice for a few years.  Modules include:Introduction to Gerontology, Learning and Test Taking, Health Care Systems, Ethics in Health Care, Psychological Aspects of Health Care, Sociological Aspects of Health Care, Introduction to Critical and Creative Thinking, Introduction to Communications, Infections and Infection Control, Exercise and Fitness 1 (Anatomy and Physiology), Exercise and Fitness 2 (Measures of Fitness), Dealing with Stress, Introduction to Sleep, Introduction to Nutrition (Macronutrients), Introduction to Nutrition (Micronutrients), Introduction to Nutrition (Diets and Culture).  The final examination covers all topics in HHA and CNA courses.  A certificate of completion is earned for a passing grade (70%).
