Interestingly, of all the books in the Bible, The Book of Esther is the only book that does not explicitly mention God. The book deals with how Esther, a Jew who was selected by King Ahasuerus as the new queen after removing the previous Queen Vashti.
The book goes on to tell the story of Haman, Ahasuerus’ prime minister, hanged for trying to kill Mordecai, who has saved the king’s life in the past.
